I made this in Nov 2005 for my friend's 21st birthday. It was a bit late, but she still loved it!

The dress is based off an outfit that Amy Lee wore to an awards ceremony that year (I can't remember which ones). It's made using satin, black and white tulle, black velvet flocked organza, and hadn embroidered with metallic threads. The form that it's on comes from Barbie fashion fever tube.

The shadow box was roughly painted in black, and Idid actually sponge through some lace in parts of it, but it's very faint. The lyrics are printed onto vellum which has copper music printed over it. The lyrics are from the Evanescence song 'Breathe no More', which is vicky's favourite Evanescence song. I used leftover fabric from the dress as the backing for the vellum, and stuffed some of the white tulle into the front of the box. There are also loose red beads in there.

I had lots of fun making this, and I'd like to make more!
