Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

I thought I should probably update, seeing as I haven't since, well June. Funny that, last time I updated, I was int eh middle of exams, and now I'm just heading into exams in the next couple of weeks. Funny how time flies.

I spent alot of the weekend at the craft show, twas really great. I spent a bit of money (Read - alot) but I got some really cool things. The best thing I purchased would have to be my lightbox. It was quite expensive, but I got $20 off the normal price, free postage form Canberra, and a free stand to go with. I'm so excited to use it! Hopefully it should arrive by the end of this week, and if not, definately on monday. Unfortunately, it is going to have to sit in it's box until I am finished exams on the 14th of November. And even then, I want to spend the first week tidying up my room, gettign new furniture for it and decorating it. Should be fun tho, I'm very excited!

I have so many things I want to do over the holidays. I have two mermies to draw, and now I want to do some mothified people as well. Plus I'd like to make a couple of mermified dolls, and maybe some mothified ones as well. I'll see how it goes.

Anywho, I'm off ot work on my assignments. I have this horrible cough (But not a cold, tis really strange) which is so breaking my concentration. Ah well, I better be off!
